NO, Obamacare does not include any provision for RFID microchipping
Despite credible debunking of a wild internet rumor alleging that "OBAMACARE WILL FORCE ALL AMERICANS TO BE CHIPPED BY MARCH 23, 2013!," the nonsense persists and is still being disseminated, posted on social networks such as facebook, and even believed by sincere well-meaning people.
With this alleged "RFID chipping deadline" only weeks away, it's appropriate to put this silly nonsense in the trash where it belongs, once and for all.
But first, just to clarify, LibertyFight.com opposes Obamacare, opposes Obama, opposes RFID microchips, and opposes RFID chipping of people, animals, passports, drivers licenses, and retail items. There are enough legitimate issues to oppose without making up nonsense to discredit the true liberty movement. As far as Obamacare, government has no legitimate authority to force people to buy health insurance, or anything else from a private corporation. Republicans for the most part seem to acknowledge this fact, yet many of them surprisingly defend "mandatory automobile insurance", which is nothing more than an identical statist scheme that Obama himself used as a justification for Obamacare. Supreme Court Justice John Roberts, who was falsely touted as a 'conservative' when occultist George W. Bush appointed him, is the traitor who sealed Obamacare, claiming the tyrannical law is legitimate because it is a tax. In confirmation rulings in 2003, Roberts said "Roe v. Wade is the settled law of the land. There is nothing in my personal views that would prevent me from fully and faithfully applying that precedent." This despite the fact that Roe v. Wade is not a law and real pro-lifers have consistently hoped that the ruling would be overturned. Mitt Romney, the ultimate flip-flopping globalist Mormon-cult clown and long-time abortion proponent who once boasted that "he is to the left of Ted Kennedy", signed into law the precurser to Obamacare while he was governor of Massachusetts. Romney is fully in support of forced medical insurance by government. Dr. Katherine Albrecht is the definitive expert on all things RFID and author of the best-selling book SPYCHIPS: How Major Corporations and Government Plan to Track Your Every Purchase and Watch Your Every Move. Her bio states

Albrecht has testified nationally and internationally before legislative bodies, corporations, and think tanks on the issue. Albrecht is a Christian liberty advocate and has a nationally syndicated radio show which airs six days a week. She broke the story of the medical studies confirming that RFID chipping of animals causes cancer in the animals. [chipmenot.org.] Albrecht also opposes so-called grocery store "rewards cards", privacy-invading schemes which compile data on consumers which, in many cases, has been stored and later used against them [nocards.org.] Katherine has often relayed the story of when she was a little girl, her grandmother sat her down at the kitchen table and warned her of the Bible prophesy from Revelations of how one day there will be a mark of the beast which people will be required to buy and sell and which Christians must oppose. The FDA approved implantable microchips for use in humans in 2004. However, it is certainly not mandatory and Obamacare does not require it. On her June 30, 2012 program, Albrecht dispelled the rumor that Obamacare included some sort of mandatory RFID chipping of Americans. The free MP3 archive of the show is here. "The rumor that the "Obamacare" health care bill contains a provision to microchip the public has spread far and wide. Thousands of web sites refer to it, so it's no surprise people are getting it wrong. I'd like to set the record straight, however. The law does not require chip implants.

You can read it cover to cover and you won't find anything about microchip implants.
Some commentators are mistakenly referring to an old HOUSE VERSION of the health care bill, H.R. 3200, a 2,454-page mega-bill introduced in 2009 that did not pass. That bill contained a Section 2561 where "implantable medical devices" were mentioned in a section that called for the creation of a "National Medical Device Registry."
That section referred to FDA-approved Class II "implantable medical devices" that are in wide use today, such as pacemakers, artificial hips, drug delivery pumps, heart stents, and others. The defunct H.R. 3200 bill would simply have created a requirement to register those implanted medical devices in order to evaluate their post-market risk and evaluate patient safety over time. It made no mention of implantable microchips.
The FDA is charged with evaluating and approving medical devices before they can be offered for sale, but it does not currently have a way to follow up once they have been sold. The concern over the long-term safety of implantable devices is a real one, given that implanted foreign bodies have the potential to cause cancer. Nevertheless, this provision did not make it into the final version of the health care legislation.
A different bill numbered H.R. 3590 (not H.R .3200) is the version of health care legislation that President Obama actually signed into law on March 23, 2010. That bill did not contain a requirement for a "medical device registry," made no mention of implantable medical devices, and most assuredly did not mention implantable microchips.
In sum, as the nation's leading opponent of RFID and implantable microchips, I can categorically state that the Obamacare legislation does not contain a provision for implanting microchips into people. Nor did any previous versions of health care legislation introduced in Congress contain such language.
With all the other privacy-invading provisions in the health care legislation, I hate to see people spending their energy on something that isn't there. Hopefully we can now lay the rumor to rest.
