How much longer can this go on?

That’s an honest question. Social and moral decay is at a rate that amazes us. There are no signs of correction let alone seeing it stop. In fact, it just seems the world is going crazy. The world is so calm and accepting of it that those of us who stand against it are considered the crazy ones. Sometimes we feel like it too.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20

But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13

That nails what’s happening. And here are the signs that fulfill the Bible prophecy:

Homosexuality, and its gay agenda, is flooding the world with its influence and demand for attention. As United States President Bill Clinton proudly wore the label of first black president, President Obama wears that of first gay president.

The culture shapers are working with incredible energy and strategy to make homosexuality as common and acceptable as Aunt Bee’s apple pie.

And it gets crazier. Or maybe it’s I who is going crazy.

For more of this craziness, go to our Lawlessness page. There is a ton of craziness documented there. I wish I were making this up. How much longer can this go on? And how low will humanity stoop? Satan hates humanity, God’s creation, and is doing all he can to lower humanity below animals.

Well, it gets worse. Out of the darkness comes bestiality. I’ve discovered that Europe and America each have different preferred spellings for bestiality, but there seems to be no end with what animal depraved-humans will participate sexually. Neither does it make a difference among the human genders. Women are also participating.

Hannibal did more than help disclose the sickness of cannibalism. Hannibal made it cool. Cannibalism is on the increase throughout the world.

So if God knows this would happen and even recorded the warning in His word, then there must be an end to it all. When is it? The following scripture in Daniel reveals that God has a time clock, there is an end, and when He’s ready He will pull the curtains down on man’s depravity and Satan’s design to remake man in his destined image.

“Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.

“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.

“And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.” Daniel 9:24-27

When that moment arrives, the presence of sin and depravity will rise until the time for the end. If we take what God said about the Amorites, we may have the opportunity to witness yet a deeper progression of humanity into the pits of degradation.

Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. Genesis 15:13

But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” Genesis 15:16

This is awesome. God has an end measured by time and behavior. I’m not crazy; I’m a stranger in a land that’s not mine. It’s allotted to me to remain until their sin is complete. Perhaps I can convince some of them to become strangers with me.

Along with the prophecy of increased darkness in the last days, we also have a promise of penetrating light from the body of Christ. The degradation seems to have a supernatural power with it as Satan works to transform humanity into an image that expresses his hate for God. It’s time for worship warriors to gather around the presence of God and do battle—supernaturally with the light He gives.
